The Cranbrook Community Partnership Group was formed in 2015 and has met regularly since. Its members include representatives from Cranbrook’s schools, housing associations, youth service providers, local shops, East Devon District Council, the Police, residents and other representatives of the community. Its remit includes:

  • assisting in building community consensus and helping create a sustainable and inclusive community
  • providing a platform for residents and partner organisations to identify, coordinate and tackle issues affecting Cranbrook residents’ quality of life or any local issues which do not relate to the quality of the built environment, e.g. antisocial behaviour or dog fouling
  • supporting and strengthening community groups.

Although the meetings themselves are not open to the public, residents are welcome to submit items they would like discussed. This can be done by either by emailing Cllr Derek Atkinson who chairs the Group on  or the Town Council office on or by dropping into the Town Council Office at the Younghayes Centre.
