Following the updated Government guidance on 16 March 2020 relating to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the Town Council has made the decision to cancel all upcoming events in the Country Park. This means that unfortunately, we won’t be able to run our community tree planting day this weekend.

Join us for a day of community tree planting in the Country Park and help increase Cranbrook’s tree cover.

Trees contribute to their environment by providing the oxygen that we breathe, improving air quality, removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, preventing soil erosion, and supporting wildlife.

We have 420 trees provided by The Woodland Trust that need your help to be planted out in the Country Park. Starting at 10am and finishing when all 420 trees are planted! This event is FREE, but there are no facilities on site so do bring your own refreshments.

Please bring a spade (if you have one), gardening gloves and shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy.

All ages welcome!

It would be great to get an idea of numbers so let us know you are able to attend by booking a space using the eventbrite link above.
