The members and officers of Cranbrook Town Council are saddened at the news of the death of HRH Prince Philip, and offer our deepest condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and all the Royal Family.

 

His Royal Highness lived a long life which was primarily dedicated to the service of others, particularly to the Monarch, their immediate family, and the wider family of the people of the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and the world as a whole. His selflessness and hard work over the many decades of his remarkable life will stand as an example for all of us and will undoubtedly be remembered with admiration in the history of this country.

 

As a mark of respect, CTC will not hold any meetings, including the Annual Meeting of the Town scheduled for Monday 12.4.21, during the official period of national mourning. We will update our website and Facebook pages with further information in due course.
