LATEST NEWS FROM GREAT TREES IN THE CLYST VALLEY

“A huge thank you to all the volunteers who came out to help with our woodland creation Last Friday and Saturday at Mosshayne Farm. You planted more than a thousand trees! Over six hundred of them were English oak. That is an amazing achievement.
If you missed this event but would like to help us plant trees
Why not join us this week on Wednesday or Saturday to plant orchard trees at Budlake and Broadclyst? Or the following week back at Mosshayne?”

Wednesday 20th February
Tree Planting – Plant a new orchard and hedgerow at Budlake Forestry Yard, Killerton. With the National Trust Ranger Team
Time: 11.00-15.00
Help to plant a completely new orchard of traditional apple varieties.

Please tell them you heard about it through the Great Trees in the Clyst Valley project
Please bring gloves and boots, and a spade if you have one.
Facilities available on site. Please bring your own refreshments as required.

Saturday 23rd February
Tree planting at Broadclyst Community Farm
Help plant new fruit & nut trees and a willow tunnel with Broadclyst Community Farm. Refreshments provided.
