In response to a request from the Education Campus, the Town Council has extended the shared cycle way signage along Tillhouse Road and Court Royal to the Education Campus.

The Town Council is grateful to the Devon County Council Access Fund for Cranbrook for funding the signage and to County Councillor Ray Bloxham who campaigned for the signs to be installed.

The Town Council is keen to promote safe cycling and shared paths provide a traffic-free environment for both pedestrians and cyclists. All users of shared paths have a responsibility for the safety of others and whilst cyclists tend to be the fastest movers, they particularly need to consider their speed so as not to startle others particularly those who are frail, or have reduced sight, hearing or mobility.
