DEATH OF HM THE QUEEN

Cranbrook Town Council is saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith.

1926 – 2022

A Condolence Book will be opened at the Town Council offices at the Younghayes Centre on Friday, 9 September 2022. The Book will be publicly accessible from Monday to Friday between 10:00am and 2:00pm.

The Condolence Book will be closed the day after the funeral.

Floral tributes may be laid at the front of the Younghayes Centre. We politely request that no plastic or cellophane is used.

The flowers will be collected and composted the day after the funeral.

There will be a minute’s silence at 11:00am on the day of the funeral as part of a national silence.
